Hale Hui Kai #104

We stayed in Hale Hui Kai Unit 104, and our first impression was very positive. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and in a fantastic location. One of the highlights was having staff onsite to answer questions, which was especially helpful since this was our first time staying at the property. They also accommodated a late checkout, which we greatly appreciated and which made our situation much less stressful.

The location is truly one of this property’s best features. The condo is just steps from the beach, making it incredibly easy to enjoy the ocean throughout the day. We loved being able to walk along the beach to neighboring resorts and take advantage of the beautiful walking path that connects many of the area’s properties. It is also within walking distance of The Shops at Wailea, making it convenient for dining, shopping, and exploring without needing to drive.

That said, we noticed several areas where the unit could benefit from maintenance and improved amenities. The condo was not stocked with kitchen towels, adequate paper towels, cleaning supplies, or laundry pods. We also found that the wood on the kitchen island was separating, kitchen cabinets were misaligned, and the bathroom could use a new shower curtain along with some updates to the bathtub area. In addition, the sliding glass door was difficult to open and close because it frequently stuck. We also experienced a noticeable number of bugs inside the condo during our stay.

Overall, we enjoyed our time at Hale Hui Kai and appreciated the beautiful location, beach access, and helpful onsite staff. With a few repairs, better stocking of basic supplies, and attention to pest control, this unit could provide an even better guest experience.

We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Hale Hui Kai. We took our 3 year old and the location to the beach was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back to stay again.

We've chosen Hale Hui Kai for over 10 years now as our Maui destination. No place better if you are non-hotel people like our family. We love the closness to the beach, the setting, the entire vive. And unit 104 is wonderfully air conditioned, and beautifully updated. Love that the master bath has been sectioned off from the master bedroom in this unit!

We rented 2 units, 104 and 304 for our family vacation of 7 people. The units were fantastic. The easy access to the beach, the location, everything was amazing. We will definitely recommend to all our friends to stay here!

We had an amazing stay at the property and in this condo. The condo literally had everything we could have asked for: boogie board, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed for cooking including a tea kettle which I loved. Beds and furniture were comfy and the condo was spotless. The ground floor location was quiet and private but an easy and short walk to the pool and beach. Swam with sea turtles in the ocean! An amazing trip and will definitely return.

This is an amazing property on my favorite beach in Maui. It was quiet, clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable. There is no view from 104 but just a short walk around the corner with a morning cup of coffee and you have the most beautiful view of the beach and grounds. The only thing I missed was a BBQ.

Generally a good and clean unit. A couple of concerns were addressed promptly, Bello people are always helpful and kind. Nice area for walking and beachfront. Friends and family also felt welcome.

What amazing place to stay with my family on this amazing vacation. Everyone is nice, and the condos are spotless. The views you get of the sunset are breathtaking.

Overall a great place to stay. Nice beach, easy access, nice condo with good a/c. We plan on returning in the future. Down side- parking is very tight and access is not very well marked. They were painting the exterior of the condo 3 of the 5 days we were there prohibiting the use of the patio, I complained to the mgmt co. There was no compensation other than sorry. This unit does not have in room laundry. Even with the down sides, it is a very comfortable place.

We Love Hale Hui Kai! This is our third stay at this property and our first stay in 104. The unit is tastefully decorated and has everything you will need to feel like you are in a beautiful home.
The property is a lovely, laid back low rise condominium complex (3 stories) directly on Keawakapu Beach (in my opinion the best beach in South Maui for walking, as it goes on until you meet the trail at Wailea) the complex is well taken care of and is quiet and is the perfect place if you like to just relax. You cannot beat the views from the common lanai on the beach front. It is spectacular!

The check in/check out experience was great-we liked this unit a lot, just a few steps to the most beautiful beach. The unit was very clean and well equipped, just had a slight odor...not offensive, just odd. The only thing I missed was a washer & dryer. Would definitely return!
